Maintaining Healthy, Active & Wise Seniors

The Healthy Active & Wise Seniors program is a thriving hub for seniors. It helps build a sense of pride and well-being through activities that improve health, wellness, quality of life.

  • Is geared toward those 55 and over

  • Offers a wide range of activities including chair exercises,  arts & crafts, congregate lunches, trips, workshops, education sessions, and much more

  • Brings together over 200  seniors in-person and virtually five days a week, including:

    • Century Gardens, Brampton – congregate dining on Thursdays

    • Chapelview Apartments, Brampton – Health and Wellness Program on Mondays (a partnership with Peel Living and Punjabi Community Health Services)
  • Funded by the Ministry of Health, as well as project funding from the New Horizons for Seniors, individual donors, and fundraising activities by the seniors.

We cannot do it alone and so rely on you – our funders, donors, volunteers – to help us build a strong community that holds a brighter future for our children and youth, a peaceful place for our seniors, and a safe and clean environment for everyone.
